I notice they are on "double secret probation"
as well, having been required to appoint a
compliance officer, having to 'stay clean' by
the book/consent decree for the next three
years as well as handling, by replacement,
any 'offending product'.
All in all a trade off, as I expect the FCC could
see they were about to (actually, they were al-
ready, it seems) get 'tied up in court' with the
filing of innumerable continuences, extensions,
appeals et al.
I wonder - what do they do with 'offending product'
already in stores, in transit or in wharehouses - I
don't recall at this point anything in the decree
about offending product already in the distribution
chain ...
