I can run a KW on 160-10m into wire dipoles and long wires that are
within 20 ft of several GFI's. When I first fired up the KW, one was
constantly tripping, and eventually smoked. I replaced it with one
of the same type and have had no problems since. It's been a while,
but I think I may have added bypass caps across one or two of them.
How much difficulty you have will probably depend on the wiring that
is feeding them, or that is plugged into them. Remember, that wiring
is a receiving antenna, and must be treated as such. Most, but not
all, of my power wiring is in grounded steel pipe. The rest of it is
what we call "BX" -- 2 or 3 wires inside a flexible spiral steel
sheath. A typical outlet has an appliance with a 6 ft cord plugged
into it.
