All,
I've located the general vicinity of a noise problem. Antenna beam
headings coincide with the general location.
It seems to be coming from a telephone pole and I was wondering if
anyone has identified noise like this coming from the power company or
cable company (cable uses the same pole).
It sounds more like the type of noise generated by a home electronics so
I'm not sure. It's a broad band noise that appears every 20Khz or so up
and down the HF spectrum. I made a video using the Pan adapter on my
Flex 5000A so it can be seen as well as heard.
The noise is there throughout the day 24/7 and usually disappears
sometime after mightnight, but there are times where the noise stays on
24 hours.
