Lee is correct about the corona. Foul weather corona is a serious form of
RFI when within about a hundred yards of a transmission circuit.

In a previous QTH of mine there was a 130 KV line within 1/4 mile of my
shack. There was also a 500KV line within about 1 -1/2 miles. There was
never any interference EXCEPT in foggy, snowy or certain types of rain.
Around there it was always damp during low-bands DX season!
I experienced rather high levels of interference due to corona when it was
wet. The 500 KV line had so much corona you could stand near it and
hear the fizz. It was way worse when in fog. If you are a serious 80 or
160 operator I would say do not do it. Also one of my Hi-Z customers
installed a receiving antenna, then shortly a power company installed a
HV powerline. He also experienced 160 meter interference and had to
relocate the array on the other side of his property. This did not cure the
problem but lessened the magnitude. Choose your location carefully.
