I have used for years an Icom IC-Q7A, which is a 2m/440 shirt-pocket
handi that cost under $100 at Dayton. It has 136 MHz aircraft band AM,
so I built a Moxon from a QST article, and it works great - plus I get a
2-band transmitter.

440 Mhz Ham radios out of China. Anyone using these?
