Well, thanks all for solving that mystery. Whenever I would use a Wagner
heat gun for heat shrink tubing, something on my test bench would make the
same noise you describe. I never knew what it was but I'll bet dollars to
donuts I do now! I never considered that it might be the Astron RS-20m.

Every time I turn on my Keurig K-Cup coffee maker I've been hearing a very
loud sound like a low loud hum coming from my Astron RS35M power supply. I
thought it was coming from the studio monitors it was so loud. Happens only
when the Keurig is on. I've got wraps of power line through a large clamp-on
ferrite to the Keurig and one on the power line to the Astron & on the DC
leg coming out. this hum is unaffected. I don't believe they are on the same
house wiring circuit.
Idears?
