Hi Frank

Well, will be not easy to find another ham in my city!

I tested today from home, less than 1 kmts from the broadcasting antenna and
didn´t notice it. I am using a SteppIR antenna in 20 mts position to listen on
3500 Mhz.

So this week will go again to CW5W and will test again there

Thanks,
Jorge

Hi Jorge,

Its best to ask a few other hams to run the same test at their QTHs.
You could be experiencing 10 kHz-spaced intermod products, if thats the case
they shouldn't show up at other QTHs. They could be generated outside your QTH
but distant from the broadcast station

Hi Jorge,

I would first confirm the reception on a different antenna and receiver.
Also, see if it occurs every 10 kHz below 3500. It sounds like it might be in
their equipment. I recall a similar situation where there was a 10 kHz
oscillation in a power supply that was causing the signal to reappear every 10
kHz from the fundamental. Just guessing, however.
