If you are really interested in this, join the group below, in my sig,
Dopplergrams. Peter Martinez, (creator of PSK31), is on the group, and
is a bottomless pit of information on this... He is listening to all of
these radars, and knows exactly how they work.
He uses that group to release his SBSpectrum software. There is always
a really interesting discussion going on about just this sort of
question there... Join, introduce yourself, and ask if anyone knows
what such and such is, he or someone will have the answer in short
order.
