The percentage of cases where my Radar Engineers Model 250 Ultrasonic Detector proves useful is very small. This kind of device is only useful for pinpointing a specific device on a pole. It offers little value when trying to figure out which pole or structure may hold the offending device. I would invest only if I were encountering numerous arcing devices out in the open. I am thinking about getting one for locating sources of power line noise. What do you think of this unit ?
