Here's a thought.......
1. Point your 15 meter tower at my house
2. Call me on the phone and tell me that you have done so.
3. I'll go to my garage while we are on the phone and I'll turn on my T8
fluorescent fixtures. I have five in the garage..........one for each of the
first three bays and two in the last bay. The three are all by one manufacturer
and the other two are from another. If they don't cause any RFI (and I can't
imagine they would as I've never heard them) then we know where the gentleman
to your east can procure fixtures that are RFI free! Wait a minute, come to
think of it, I don't think I've ever operated on 15M with them on before. I've
never had a reason to do so. In any case, we're golden if you get no noise from
at least one of the manufacturer's brands, and it's worth a shot to find out.

Subject: [RFI] 15 M Noise follow up
Just a s a follow up to a noise from a house 1500' away from my yagi pointed
at the house only on 15 meters. My utility did contact the owners and the
source turned out to be fluorescent strip T8 fixtures located in the garage.
They had been on 24/7 luckily they have not been on since. I have not
contacted the owner as I didn't want to jinx anything but I will if the
noise returns. Not sure how to cure the fixtures.
Thanks,
Mike W9RE
