The first generation used 2 Watts at MURS frequencies (VHF 154 MHz), and they plan on going to 900 MHz with 1 Watt because of interference. It also talks on Bluetooth to your smartphone. (2.4GHz) Note that you should take all of the stuff on their website for version 2 with a very big dose of skepticism, the company is crowdfunded, and version 2 is in the TBD stages.
