Isn't this issue similar to the old TV susceptibility issue?
TV manufacturers don't want to spend the added dollars putting the filtering on
all TV sets when it is needed on so very few to block RFI from hams.
I suspect with the RFI going the other way this time, it's a similar reason to
avoid the additional costs for all installations when it's only needed when
installed near a ham operator.
Even when we get solar vendors to cooperate and install fixes, we hams should
still submit a complaint or notification with the FCC so they have data showing
the problem really exists!
