Stephanie, thankyou, I will check that link out. I was looking today if there
was a homebrew filter I could make for these I have in the garage. I decided
to keep four because they are supposed to be good to -20 degrees, but they are
noisy. I’ll see if I can make a filter for one and if it works then I’ll do
all four.

I think the LED’s do have a so called ballast as it’s a conversion to the LED
requiremen, but not the same as a ballast for flouresent lighting which are
heavy and generate heat.

If you search Amazon by entering EMI filter you will find a variety for
different applications.

Of course you need to determine how the RFI is being picked up by your antenna.
This is key in suppressing the noise source. Perhaps even several wraps thru an
appropriate torroid core might even help you too.

Ballasts or not, An EMI filter mounted on the light housing would be the most
effective i believe assuming the offending circuit is not in a wall wart. If a
switching supply in a wall wart is the noise source, you would be to insert
filtering some other way.
