I have used a RF Explorer <http://j3.rf-explorer.com/> to find general
indications of the interference with a directional antenna, and then used a
laptop to record a recording of the offending signal using SDRplay. One issue
it the SDRplay can only record about 8- 10MHz of spectrum based on CPU load.
The small handheld RF explorer can do much wider spectrum, but lower fidelity.
Note that some RF explorer models go that low, and others do not.
The RF explorer is great low cost wide band tool, then you narrow down using a
SDR to get a good documented recording of the signal.
Thanks,
David
