It is always good to "try" one... Make sure the Comcast folks are aware
that you won't accept, or pay for it if it generates RFI, prior to
install...
My guess, and this is only guess, is that it will be quiet... Netgear
got into trouble a few years ago, and filtered their Ethernet over power
line hardware for the ham bands. I once IDed some RFI for a friend, by
the holes in the spray, right on each ham band, from a Netgear device.
He was a SWL as well, and it played hob with his receiver when not on
the ham bands.
