I installed a six ft. section of "warm" white LED tape just beneath my shack's
tabletop riser. It casts bright, consistent downward lighting across the
entire desktop. I use a dedicated 2-amp regulated power supply, generically
sold as "MW122A." Price is about USD $25. It's modified with a small rheostat
that functions as a non-RFI light dimmer. One could also use an output from a
fused RigRunner power manifold and still use a rheostat to control light level.
