My "guess" is that you could probably estimate
the performance using the antenna at 1/4 above
a really good ground!

We have a steel roof.  It's In sections about 2-feet wide and long 40 to 50
feet long.  I was a bit concerned about noise in a good wind (which we
regularly get!).  No problem.  And it makes a wonderful mounting surface
for magnetic mount VHF/UHF antennas.

A 1/2-wavelength at 14.150 MHz is about 35-feet.  If the antenna is at
50-feet and the height of the new structure is about 10-feet, that would
put the tin roof 40-feet from the antenna.  This is a bit over
1/2-wavelength.  Without modelling, I'd guess the impact of the conducting
roof will be minimal.
