That is why I have stacked cores in my common mode chokes to handle
the induced magnetic currents within the cores
But doing so moves the self-resonant frequency of the chokes, and the
effectiveness of chokes depends on this resonance! I strongly suggest
that you study my work on this, first published in 2005, expanced and
updated many times over the years.
