:-). The arcs are very tiny. I cannot see them with my eye. But with the
binoculars I can. I saw 2 distinct arcs. One at that square washer and
the other at or behind that broken insulator (spool).

As a member of the local volunteer fire department, I can tell you we
have been called out for arcs. The call out was "pole on fire". You
should do the same with the power company if they are less than
responsive.

Hi,
Assuming your Power company is responsible, (most are), they will get
right on something like that.
You might couple your audio, and S-Meter video to your video of the
sparks, showing the spark, the S-Meter jump, and the audio all at the
same instant.

Last night I tried my digital camera and binoculars. I could see the
arc's with binoculars! Looks like ground and neutral wires are to
close to other hardware. The digital camera captured one arc but was
so dark could not see the pole. Anyone ever use a night vision
camera like used for hunting etc for this?
