Thanks for that very important observation, Gedas! Noise from generators
(and most sources) is conducted to wiring, and the common mode component
radiates into our antennas. With no operation of the transfer switch,
the only connected wiring would be a control line, and, internal wiring,
depending on shielding and its layout. To really know about noise, the
transfer switch would have to operate.
