Additionally along this line: Sometimes .pdf's are copy protected or
edit protected. But they are never AFAIK protected from printing.
If you "print" one of these files in "print to file" mode, the
copy protection is fooled and thinks you are merely printing to
paper. The resulting .pdf file will be stripped of any "protection".
Strange but true.

a PDF file, as opposed to paper, all Windows supports direct to PDF
printer by default.
