Thanks to everyone who posted comments. I need to find out more from
the owner regarding charging.... whether he plugs in AC or plugs in a
charger. Regardless, I always assume the problem with ALL electronic
charger RFI is noise backing up into house wiring. In this case it
could also be radiating from the van's internal wiring. If only these
chargers would employ adequate filtering like we have in our radio
equipment power supplies! Apparently the charging time is programmable,
so if a charge from 10pm to 6am would sufficiently maintain the lithium
batteries, it could be a simple solution. I need more research and
information from the mfr/dealer. The owner is trying to be helpful.
Unfortunately he just completed a large ADU that has multiple noise
sources, so I will also be working to get his electrician to substitute
analog power supplies wherever possible.
It's nice to know the Tesla chargers apparently don't create RFI, at
least in Jim's case. 73, Jim W6YA
