[RTTY] HAL RTTY-1 question

My HAL RTTY-1 RTTY TUNE indicator seems to have an intermittent problem, and
I wonder if others have seen it.  Either on background noise or a signal,
both the mark and space LEDs go from, say, half-scale or even full scale, to
just a couple of LED segments.  The signal or noise is changing, and I don't
see it on my other tuning indicators (scope or software).

Is it ill?
