SOAPBOX: I had several 'operator' related problems that resulted in my
unintentional 'stepping-on' of a few folks and to those,I sincerely
apologize. I also experienced the 'key-down' problem with either
writelog or mmtty, just after someone told me to check my signal because
it 'sounds lousy'. I quickly rebooted and had no further problems. Last
year, I got 101k points and 940 or so Q's. My goals, this year, were to
beat last years score and to break the 1000 QSO barrier. It was my gutt
feel that props and participation were down a bit from last year but I
had completed several antenna improvement projects during the year and
developed what I hoped would be a good contest stratety. So, in the end,
I was very satisfied with my results. Many thanks to all for working
