These are true blue DX'ers (just look at the antennas
they use) who DX for the joy of it, and don't need cards
HI HI.  Postage is too expensive anyway, not to
mention the underpaid Plutonian post office workers!

There was one time in the 70's or 80's that one of
the Pioneers' (perhaps it was a Mariner?) antenna lost earth
track.  And the s/c was too far from the ecliptic to use
Arecibo, KP4.  So they used the 150 foot Radar dish at
Stanford to send codes to redirect the antenna.

There is a sign outside of this "Big Dish" at Stanford
warning visitors that the rear window defrosters of their
cars may be vaporized :-).
