A couple of years ago, several of us passed around a Belkin USB-serial
adapter. None of us could get it to correctly send FSK Baudot. I didn't
remember the model number, but Bill, W9OL still has one of that vintage that
is model F5U003.

The one Don, AA5AU, is testing is F5U103. Apparently some changes have been
made! Hopefully Don will note these differences on his web page at
http://www.aa5au.com/usb

Interestingly, I have the following observations:

1. A search on F5U003 at Nextag revealed sources for this product.

2. A search on F5U003 at Belkin did -NOT- reveal this product.

3. A search at Belkin -DID- reveal the F5U103.

Seems like the conclusions are:

1. The F5U103 works for FSK, at least with some programs and conditions,
and is currently available.
2. The F5U003 is being sold by some distributors, but is not currently
being manufactured, and probably doesn't work for FSK with MMTTY and others.

BEWARE to those buying Belkin - Make sure you don't get the older one! ;-)
