I know a lot of causal contesters here, who are saying: "NO QSL NO QSO"."

I don't consider a contest contact a QSO, so please don't use "the final
courtesy of a QSO is a QSL" analogy! I answer all QSL requests, even the
ones from the cheapskates that don't include an SASE! I find it even more
difficult to understand the reasoning behind QSLing every contest contact?
With each inbound bureau shipment I receive, there are many requesting
confirmation of a band/mode that I have already confirmed to that station?
Beginning in 2003, when I receive a QSL request, my return card will have
confirmations of any/all bands/modes with that station. I'm hoping by doing
that, the "2+ pounds per quarter" of inbound QSL requests will diminish?
BTW...if you think the "NO QSL, NO QSO" is working, you're sadly mistaken!
Just check the contest results!

C'Ya, Shelby
