Hello friends,
are there any RTTY and RTTY-contest operators using the ACOM1000
amplifier? I am interested in the performance and behaviour of this
amp when challenged by heavy duty RTTY transmitting. ACOM claims
output in the order of 1000 watts. Svetlana specifies the 4CX800A
maximum ratings with 2500V/800mA and typical linear operation
with 2200V/550mA giving 750W output. What are the typical plate voltages
and currents of the ACOM1000 in RTTY mode?
