No weekend RTTY contesting was possible here in the Tampa Bay area of west
central Florida due to Hurricane Jeanne. I lost all of my antennas, supporting
masts and trees. I feel lucky to have my roof, electricity and Roadrunner
internet connection after being down for only 9 hours.
I had just gotten all antennas back up after being blown down by Hurricane
Frances and Charley. I will have to put up a tower in my back yard to get back
on the air and it's not allowed due to CC&R's, so I'm off the air until I build
a house in the country and move.
