Dear RTTY and Digital Communications community:

As part of the lead-up to the 2005-2006 contest season, the ARRL Contest
program is looking to find additional sponsors for the popular ARRL RTTY
Roundup plaque program.

The RTTY Roundup program was started initially in 1999 at the
encouragement of the late Mary Lou Brown, NM7M - one of her last
projects as ARRL Northwestern Division Director. Plaques are available
to the top score overall both for W/VE and DX participants in each of
the four contest categories:

Single Operator High Power
Single Operator Low Power
Multioperator High Power
Multioperator Low Power

In additional, plaques for the top score in each category in each ARRL
Division are also available.

Participation in the ARRL RTTY Roundup has almost doubled since 1998 -
from 471 entries to 934 in 2005. The ARRL is soliciting individuals and
clubs to get involved by sponsoring one of the available plaques. The
cost of sponsorship for each plaque is $67, which includes shipping and
handling.

As active RTTY/Digital participants, we encourage you to get involved
with sponsorship of plaques for the hottest growing contest at the ARRL
over the past 7 years. For more information, please contact me at
n1nd@arrl.org or by phone at 860-594-0232. You can also contact my
assistant Kathy Allison, KA1RWY at kallison@arrl.org or by phone at
860-594-0295. We will be happy to help you select plaques that meet your
interest. Help the RTTY Roundup grow by becoming the sponsor of one or
more ARRL RTTY Roundup plaques.

Thanks and 73

Dan Henderson, N1ND
ARRL Contest Branch Manager
