Pete,

What software are you using?

The problem is that the data is transferred to the virtual
port almost instantly as opposed to being paced by a hardware
UART.  If you are using MMTTY, set the "USB Port" to
"C: limiting speed."  Otherwise, you will probably need to
be content with AFSK for RTTY.
