Hello, Goetz:
I also noticed it when I was in the middle of a contest and now to fix
this problem I have to manually physically disconnect the device if I
need to shut down the computer - which is highly inconvenient.
I use Kenwood TS- 480SAT. In my case I have to power up micro HAM
from separate power supply, which I manually have to shut down - can't
understand why there's no power switch - poor design. But since the
device itself works REALLY nice, I don't mind to shut both units down
manually.
Thank you for your e-mail and your clarification. I thought I was the
only one having this problem. Wouldn't be a bad idea to address it with
the manufacturer.
Once again, good luck and talk 2u you in the contest
Thanx & 73!
Alex.
