This doesent work with the IC765 Gary
I found the solution in a PDF document from Don, VE3HUR

Using the 250 Hz second IF CW filter in RTTY mode
[From: Dave KD6TO]
This allows use of the 250 Hz second IF CW lter (FL-53A) in RTTY mode.
Install the optional 250Hz lter according to the instructions (if not already
installed).
Remove the covers to gain access to the Main Unit PCB.
Take a 1SS133 diode or equivalent and solder the positive side to the positive
side of D42 (accessible at pin 15 of IC11) and the negative side to the negative
side of D39.
12
Re-assemble and test.
The CW 250Hz pushbutton will now select the 250Hz lter in both CW and
RTTY modes.

Rick,
I have a pair of IC-761's and both have the 250hz filter in and use it all the
time during RTTY contest. When I am S&P I switch in the 250 cycle filters and
it really helps a lot. By all means use this filter, no mod required, you just
install it in one of the IF's and then switch it in and out with the FUNC
switch.

I have never seen a mod for this, but it sure would be nice to have 250hz
possibility on RTTY with the 765
The rig is excellent on CW but a litle bit to wide on RTTY with the stock 500hz
filter.
See you in BARTG this weekend

Hi Gang,
I have an IC-765 and an FL-101 250 Hz CW filter. I would like to be able to use
the 250 filter when in RTTY mode. Can this be done or is there a mod to be able
to switch this in? I would like to retain use of the 500 Hz standard filter in
RTTY also.
Thanks. See you in BARTG RTTY this weekend!
