I used the Heathkit version, the SB-1000, for several years and it was
a good performer. I eventually modified it for six meters and still
use it there occasionally.

One caveat: When running RTTY and especially during a contest or
DXPedition, keep the power down to about 600 watts out. If you run it
at full CW/SSB power, you will soon learn what an unhappy power
transformer smells like.   :-)
