The Flex5Ka really showed it's stuff
I called cq on 17 rtty, on what I thought was a dead band. But figured, what
the heck.
Didn't hear a thing, no sound coming from speakers at all, except for the
low hiss.
Panadaptor showed signal noise floor at less than -120dBm
BUT THERE ON THE SCREEN
I was decodeing signals calling me
worked a couple of Eu's that I could not hear....by ear, (I'm hard of
hearing..but not that deaf yet)
but could print
not perfect print, but darn good. Even a pretty good Lissajous in the
MMTTY/WinWarbler Scope
Normally I can't print any signal that is not 10dBm higher than the noise
floor.
Today, with a barely visible flutter in the rttypassband, I was able to
print.
If I hadn't looked up, I would have missed the qsos.
