I saw this on the Vista Ham reflector. I wonder if the bottom line about 
running any standard x86 MSFT OS would work for those wishing to run WF1B 
still.
I won't bother trying but maybe some DOS die hard may.

The official MSFT specs do not mention Vista Home Premium as being a
"supported" OS to run VPC on.  However, if you peruse the VPC message boards
(which you can find at the VPC site) you will see that people are running
VPC on Vista Home Premium.  When installing VPC on Vista Home Premium you
will get a message saying it is not supported.  However, you click past this
message and complete the installation.

Beyond that, you can install just about any standard x86 MSFT OS within the
VPC environment.  I do not see any major limitations in this regard.
