My license was issued for a duration of exactly 12 months 31JAN78 to 31JAN79. 
Were some licenses issued with out expiration date?

Just to take a few seconds and clear up the information about the GITMO 
callsigns.  The Commanding Office of the base is the one who has the authority 
to issue callsigns. That is why they are not in the FCC data base.
Also approximately two years ago, the Commanding Office revoked all callsigns. 
Since them, there have only been about 11 issued and all those issued have 
expirations dates.
