That's just it, I don't. Well, I don't think so. I'm in EM15, so
they are about 3600 km from me. I have no trouble working KP4, KP2,
et al.
The relative spotlessness of the Sun has a lot to do with it of
course, but I expected them to be loud on 40 and 80. When I worked
ZF2AM the other evening on 75, he was S9+10dB and I joked with him
saying that his LP at 500' was doing great. :-)
But K5D? Nope. When they were on 40 phone the other evening, they
were just a little over the noise.
Not that I'll stop trying. I may even get brave and try them on CW
... maybe towards the end ... when they are begging for Qs. :-)
