Well, yes and no. The problem isn't AFSK, it's AFC. When a station is
S&P'ing and they have AFC on, as soon as they get close to another
station, the AFC reaches out and grabs the station and they stop
tuning, thinking they are right on frequency. The RX is, but the TX is
not. 

This is one thing I like very much about N1MM Logger. When you go to
CQ mode, it turns AFC on, as it should. When you go to S&P mode, it
turns it off AND RESETS THE MARK FREQUENCY TO 2125, as it should. With
that, it's hard to go wrong.
