Yes, I'm sure there are some who think they can hear the difference  
and the rare individual who might even do slightly better than 50-50.  
But if properly adjusted, I can't believe one could tell with certainty.

This is like blind wine tasting where the self styled aficionados are  
absolutely psychologically invested in the fact that French wine will  
always wine over California; or that an audiophile can really tell the  
difference in the sound of the 3rd and 5th harmonics of a tube amp vs  
an equalized solid state amp; or the guys who actually believe that  
eSSB will produce broadcast quality sound in a 3 kc bandwidth.

Interesting discussion, but its run its course. At least for me.
