I had 500Hz filters in all my Kenwood radios, they had terrible shape factors and didnt work well on CW or RTTY. I replaced them with INRAD 400Hz filters that had great shape factors and it was a night and day difference on both CW and RTTY. I find that a 250Hz filter is too narrow for S&P to suit my taste. Just my 2.5 cents worth. Ron KH6DV Kaneohe Bay, Oahu _______________________________________________ RTTY mailing list RTTY@contesting.com http://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/rtty |
