My TS-440 is able to switch in the narrow cw filter (250 hz) even on sideband, which I can't do on my Icom IC-738. So it narrows down the bandwidth on my waterfall to help separate out the stations. I'm sure if I had a "Cadillac" PRO model transceiver, I could use all kinds of filtering in two or three stages. But I have fun with my radio, and that's the purpose, right? BTW, using registered MixW 2.19. Harvey, KM4JA _______________________________________________ RTTY mailing list RTTY@contesting.com http://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/rtty |
