Yep - running RTTY @ 1.5kw needs plenty of AIR.

This also means do not cram the amp back under a shelf and/or close to a 
wall.
The air intakes and exhaust need plenty of space to "breathe".

A key consideration of an amp for RTTY contesting that is often 
overlooked is the amp's power supply design - in particular the KVA 
rating of the power transformer.   Just because the RF deck has big 
honkin' tube(s) doesn't mean the power supply is up to the job over the 
long haul.
