[RTTY] Kenwood 450 FSK

KA1KIX has a Kenwood TS-450 and is using writelog with a buxcom rascal 
interface. He has to select reverse on the radio and reverse with writelog 
to get it to work.  Does anyone have an idea as to the problem here....it 
works fine with both in reverse but he would like to get it setup correctly. 
I read the manual but can't find any information on any switches or menu 
changes to correct the problem.
