At 0142 on Sunday morning I switched from 40 to check 80. 1st call got a
very weak reply, up and down with QSB, from an unfamiliar call. I watched
the report go out on my screen '599 599 599' ...........
N8CL/2, you were a star. Got it first time!
The other highlight after a weekend of fighting with a schedule-wrecking
cold/flu type bug was my very last contact in the 30 hours, FP/W6HGF, on 80
metres. What a way to finish!
