I have to agree with Van. I can't imagine a ham purchasing hardware for 
something we been doing for years with software for free. I use to own an 
older version on the HAL. I believe it was the 6000. It worked and was a 
nice looking unit. I gave it away when I purchased the KAM (Kantronics All 
Mode) very simular to the PK-232. Those were the days.
