-----------------------

Internet: www.drcg.de

The DL-DX RTTY Contest Group (DRCG) would like to invite all licensed radio
amateurs to participate in a Top Band (160m) Digital QSO Party. This QSO
Party is designed to increase and encourage digital activity on 160m.

Goal:
Increase digital activity on the 160m band, to make as many contacts as
possible and to increase your DXCCs totals on 160m. Every station can work
every other station as many times as possible.

Times:
Starting every second Monday in December at 00:00 UTC and continuing two
weeks (14 days) until Sunday 23:59 UTC.
(in 2011: 12.Dec. at 00:00 UTC until 25.Dec. 23:59 UTC)

Mode/Band:
All digital modes (RTTY, PSK 31, etc.) operation is only allowed in band
segments set aside for digital operation on the 160m band.

Exchange:
Normal QSO Info; RST, Name, etc..

Call:
CQ 160m Party .....

Assistance:
It is encouraged to make use of skeds and announce your operation during the
QSO Party in the Internet. Announcements on the various DX-Clusters are also
encouraged.
During the QSO Party the online chat room on the DRCG Homepage will be open
to exchange information before, during, and after the QSO Party. Everyone is
welcome to join in.

Results:
Each station can post their daily or final results into a data base on the
DRCG Homepage www.drcg.de or by using other media including e-mail lists or
the RTTY reflector. The report should contain but is not limited to number
of QSOs, DXCCs worked, personal QSO highlights, description of the station
used, and any other information that may be of use to other operators. No
more "official" detailed results will be published.

Remarks:
This is not a "contest" in the normal sense of the word. The goal is to
increase digtial activity on the 160m Band and to increase DXCC totals on
the Top Band.

The DRCG would like to wish all participants good luck and success on the
Top Band.
