I don't think that the standard macros on wint-test, N1MM, QARtest nor
for HRD & C are by their self respectfully of the written and unwritten
rules for macros.
I have seen samples where the macros sets are pretty awful for RTTY.
Those macros aren't respectfully from several point of view, almost half
of the same so well described in the manuals, at least of the first two.
Thats may sound strange but just doing a plain installation of each one
after a drilling down in the appropriate chapters of the respective
manual will be enough to check. Manuals predicate for minimalism and
effectiveness of the macros but those standard set of macros you get
from the base install are practically poor if not bad.

So, much better to follow the rules on the manuals of the same loggers
than to use the same things just out of the box.

On another side, but for the same subject ... things may change for
HRD/LOGGER/DM780, but still no FSK for RTTY on DM780: no joy. BTW I
wouldn't like to buy another hardware interface to do FSK as for FLDIGI,
that isn't a logger by itself.

HRD have since than a great engine but it's still unable to discharge
all its power on ground. Nor it isn't a great school to come on MMTTY
standalone or integrated on any other package. This was leaving me
astonished when one of the first questions that I saw about the P3 was:
"Where is the mouse connector ...".
