Is there a benefit when using a twin peak filter (of whatever
implementation) - assuming there is only one signal within the passband?

I've been using the LMS Notch filter for years.. It makes a great quasi
TwinPeakFilter.. Work with the Settings and Show fearure untill you get a -
60 to -70 db notch.. Set the NOT button ON and move the little red marker to
the center of the Mark and Space displays on the waterfall screen.. In my
case that is 2210 hz, using the standard settings..
