I assume you have the ST-6000 schematic. If not hollar.
Figure 5.1 ST-6000 Block Diagram.
Middle of the bottom. J3-9 goes to RQS Pin7 DB9. Above this that line
goes to a spot between 2 ops. I show a Diode added in the line J3-9.
On the Aux Connector J3 Pin 3 (Pre-autostart Data) goes to PK232 See RXR
in PK232 manual.
J3-10 is hooked to J3-4 and J3-14 is hooked to J3-13
RS-232 Out is J5-1
RS-232 IN is J5-4
Think this is somewhere in a old RTTY Journal. The stuff that K0BX has

I would like to redo that setup. I have the equipment but I do not remember
how to set up the ST-6000. I know it was easy. If I remember right all I had
to do was change a few jumpers on the 15 pin accessory plug. I then took the
output from one of the 3 pin connectors and I had a diode bridge between the
two pins. That was all there was too it. I have looked through the manual of
the ST-6000 but have not even seen a reference to TTL.
I have searched the internet for a solution and have found many schemes to use
RS-232 into a pk232 or other type modem but that is not what I want to do.
If anyone knows how to do what I am talking about I would appreciate the help,
